Many datasets which are accessible through this webinterface can be considered to be for general use. This includes sitewide data, waterlevel data, geological and geophysical logs and so on. Several other datasets (especially laboratory experiments) can be considered to be "reserved" for the primary PI in charge of that dataset. This does not mean that other scientists can not use this data, however, scientists are encouraged to contact a dataset owner prior to using the data to ensure that there are no issues.
